Seared Steak

- 1 jar (20 ounces) CUCINA MODERNA® Vodka Sauce
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3/4 cup loosely packed flat Italian parsley leaves
- 1/3 cup sliced toasted almonds
- 6 New York strip steaks (about 2 inches thick)
- kosher salt and ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Place sauce, peppers, garlic, vinegar, paprika, parsley and almonds in blender jar. Pulse 1 min. until all ingredients are finely chopped.
- Season steaks on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Grill 7-8 min. on each side or until medium-rare doneness (145ºF). Rest steak 5-10 min. before slicing and serving with sauce.
